how long have you been an artist?: I started drawing at around 1/12, so I've been drawing for nearly 14 years now.
what do you draw?: people mostly. Some people catagorize it as 'charicatures,' but I don't accentuate features already prominant, in most of my pieces the prominant features are large lips, intense eyes and a long, straight nose. Thus being said, I generally don't draw people below the waist.
musical interests: Mindless Self Indulgence and The Dresden Dolls have been my favourite bands for 2 years now, and newly added to that list is Avenged Sevenfold, having seen them live recently I know that they are one of the best live bands I have personally ever witnessed. I also enjoy punk, pop, rap, metal, rock, and a vast number of other more specific genres. From these my favourites are Lower Class Brats, Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera, Snoop Dogg and KRS-One, Pig Destroyer and Dimmu Borgir, Andrew Wk, as well as The Locust, The Ramones, Motorhead, and much more.
favourite films: Amadeus, The Shining, Fight Club, Interview with the Vampire, American History X, Moulin Rouge, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, and The Labrynth.
what artists inspire you: Erte, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Chuck Close, MC Escher, My best friend Lara Madden, Billy Martin, Brian Froud, My mother, Jhonen Vasquez, and many others who inspire me in ways other than visual art such as throne, newsay, the dresden dolls, jack nicholson, edward norton, j.k. rowling, kurt vonugett, Jimmy Urine, Benicio Del Toro and Christina Aguilera. Anyone who is beautiful, I am visually amazed by you.
what do you like to do: Hang out with friends, meet famous people and or idols, go to concerts, watch movies, especially ones I love, dream, write, sing, put art into my make-up, love, hate, be completely and utterly silly and wierd, flirt and avoid fighting.
